Special Trial Judge Jennifer E. Siegel

Special Trial Judge Siegel holds a B.A. from Barnard College, an M.B.A. from the Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University, a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law, and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.

Prior to her appointment, she served the Court as Attorney-Adviser to Special Trial Judge Robert N. Armen, Jr. (2006-2009), an Assistant Deputy Counsel to the Chief Judge (2009-2017), Deputy Clerk of the Court (2017-2019), and Public Affairs Counsel (2019-2023). Prior professional experience included work in private practice and as a certified mediator.

Appointed Special Trial Judge of the United States Tax Court on September 11, 2023.
